ANZAC Day 2026 - Boolarra

The Boolarra ANZAC Day Dawn Service was attended by over 50 members of the local community, who gathered in the early morning to pay their respects. Senior Constable Matt Ryan served as MC, guiding the service with dignity and respect. Roz Carstairs read the names of the fallen soldiers from the Boolarra district, honouring those who served and sacrificed. This was followed by Dale Fransson playing the Last Post and Reveille, creating a moving and reflective atmosphere for all in attendance.

Following the service, members of the community were invited into the hall for a warm breakfast, providing an opportunity to come together and reflect. The breakfast helped warm those who had braved the early morning conditions and was generously donated by the Boolarra Community Development Group. It was a fitting conclusion to a meaningful and well-supported community event.
