The 57th Annual Strzelecki Showtime Presents “The Siren’s Torment”

Strzelecki Showtime is an annual original musical theatre production, written, directed, produced and performed by the Scouts of the Latrobe Valley and beyond.

This year’s production, “The Siren’s Torment” will see over 75 local young people on stage, as well as around 60 backstage, entertaining audiences at the new Gippsland Performing Arts Centre in Traralgon in October.

“The Siren’s Torment” is described as “Ahoy, adventure awaits! When mutiny rocks the high seas, it starts a chain reaction of events until the newly appointed Navy Commodore launches a war on piracy, the pirates have to live up to the pirate code and defend their honour!

Anchors aweigh for an unforgettable adventure, set during the golden age of piracy, this family-friendly show is written and performed by the Scouts of Gippsland. Join Strzelecki Showtime for their 57th annual performance, “The Siren’s Torment”, and discover whether the love of piracy can truly conquer all challenges on the open sea.”

  • Friday October 24, 7.30pm
  • Saturday October 25, 1.30pm and 7.30pm
